Another 'do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do' commie lib. Looks like he had a high-security party zone with guests arriving in luxury vehicles, music playing late into the night, and guards stationed at the gates wearing masks and military-style gear. Of course, he wouldn't want ordinary folks displaying such extravagance, it's only reserved for the elites who preach to you about living minimal lives.

"Armed Guards, Phone Jammers": Inside Zohran Mamdani's Lavish Uganda Wedding Bash

Uganda-born 33-year-old Mamdani had eloped with Duwaji, 27, in February. On Sunday, he informed his social media followers that he was heading to his homeland to celebrate his nuptials with filmmaker mother, Mira Nair, and professor father, Mahmood Mamdani.

Kampala:
New York's Indian-origin mayoral frontrunner, Zohran Mamdani, reportedly celebrated his recent marriage to artist and animator Rama Duwaji with a three-day lavish bash at his family's sprawling compound in Uganda. The celebrations held at the sprawling Mamdani family estate in the upscale Buziga Hill neighbourhood outside Kampala were a heavily fortified affair, complete with armed military-style guards in masks, a phone-jamming system, and multiple security gates, according to a report by the New York Post.

Interesting. I had to use three different search engines to find this one. I couldn't find a site search engine for this news site, weird.

They can polish the shiny turd all they want but just know that Mayors in New York are not elected, they are appointed by the Left.

And right on cue, the leftists on this board ignore the thread. We engage, they run.

From some other sources, back up and added details;

How can socialist Zohran Mamdani revel in his family’s colonial privilege?

Monday’s mass shooting is a problem for Zohran Mamdani not just thanks to his long record of cop-bashing, but because he was off vacationing at the family estate in Uganda when it happened.

Any candidate could have been out of town in late July, but no others would be partying at a grand colonial compound an ocean away from home.

And it’s an extra-icky look for a socialist who’s supposedly pro-equality and anti-imperialistic.

Yes, the gated Mamdani spread in the ritzy Buziga Hill neighborhood of Kampala, Uganda, belongs to Zohran’s Hollywood-director mom and Columbia radical-prof dad, but he plainly feels fully privileged to enjoy it.

And the belated wedding celebration with his wife, Rama Duwaji, ran for three days, a party guarded by a privacy-ensuring phone-jamming system, and a mini army of private security: no fewer than 20 special forces soldiers by the property gate to guard the invite-only event.

Quite the look for a politician who’s repeatedly called for New Yorkers to go without police protection — including battered women and other victims of domestic abuse.

He’s also slammed the NYPD as supposedly “anti-queer,” despite partying in a country where penalties for being gay range from life imprisonment to death, not to mention the rest of Uganda’s abysmal human rights record.
