"Challenge whiteness?"
"Whiteness" will always win, given how the left defines "whiteness."

The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture recently unveiled guidelines for talking about race. A graphic displayed in the guidelines, entitled "Aspects and Assumptions of Whiteness in the United States," declares that rational thinking and hard work, among others, are white values.
In the section, Smithsonian declares that "objective, rational, linear thinking," "quantitative emphasis," "hard work before play," and various other values are aspects and assumptions of whiteness.
So, you will challenge this "whiteness" by exemplifying the opposite? You will use subjective, irrational non-linear thinking, de-emphasize quantitative data, and you will play before work? Then you will surely continue to lose to "whiteness."
You will watch hard-working quantitative thinkers (of any color) be promoted over your play-before-work ass. You will either say "damn white person!" or "damn n!&&3r always acting white!"
Sadly, that is exactly what has been sold to a large chunk of the black population in the U.S. by the Democrat Party Plantation.
Of course, those virtues are not about "whiteness," any more than Martin Luther King was "acting white" when he studied instead of playing in his segregated elementary school. Those success traits can be found in any and all races, and they will always prevail.
