Zone1 Canadian from Ontario here.

We just moved to Ontario, [Mississauga], from Nova Scotia four years ago. We are all really enjoying life in the province of Ontario.

In 2001 and 2002, I had the privilege of teaching English as a second language in Quito, Ecuador where my third wife is from.

After we returned to Canada I felt driven to comment on politics and economics because I had noticed some discrepancies in some of the ideas that we consider to be "politically correct."

Is it OK to add a link to the blog that is my 2008 campaign for public office back in Nova Scotia, Canada?

yes, mostly peaceful

Once we get past "Zone 1" it probably is possible to find areas that are not so peaceful isn't it?

Yes, I already found some very interesting forums indeed. Years ago these types of forums were kind of a war zone so this one is still relatively peaceful in comparison to how things were a decade or two ago.

Yes, those of us who really like this type of forum have mellowed over time. Many of us are becoming more diplomatic and less easy to be offended.

Also I think that probably many of the most rude and easily angered posters have been banned.
