An Illinois father and his girlfriend have been convicted in the death of his 5-year-old daughter, who was brutally beaten after refusing to help clean the house.

Unchinna Myrick, 28, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and two counts of first-degree cruelty to children on Wednesday, for her role in the 2021 death of Janiyah Herring. Janiyah's father, 30-year-old Cedric O'Neal Herring, was convicted of murder in September.

YEs death penalty, but not a painless, merciful death.
I would subscribe giving him a drug that weakens his body substantially.
Send in a depraved psychopath with leather straps and whips for hours.
Then give the psychopath a small wooden baton with instructions not to kill him, but beat him at will until he dies. No food or water. If he passes out, throw him in an ice bath till he wakes back up and continue the beatings.
Allow him to heal for a few days, and send in a fresh psychopath.
Keep doing this for weeks, until he finally dies of starvation and exhaustion.
