In my opinion the Prime Minister Mark Carney gambit to take Canada out of a close relationship with the USA into a closer trading relationship with China and Europe is dangerous to say the least?
I admit that this entire topic is far above my own Security Clearance Level with The Being of Light of near death experience fame who obviously understands matters that are beyond my ability to understand, but surely it is legitimate that I am not entirely thrilled with the idea of Canada being flooded with Chinese produced electric vehicles? Will China put "Spyware" into those vehicles? Yes!!!!!!!!!
For the past eleven years Canada's New Democratic Party, [which is very much like the Democratic Party in the USA], cooperated almost totally with everything that was done by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who ACTED as if he was further left politically than the NDP.
I joined Canada's NDP in May of 2025 because I knew that something needed to be written up that at least in theory could unite Canada's NDP with the Pierre Poilievre Conservatives? The key is the fact that in one of Mr. Pierre Poilievre's interviews with Dr. Jordan Peterson, [who was a member of Canada's New Democratic Party when he was a teenager], is the statement that Mr. Pierre Poilievre is a fan of economist Milton Friedman.
As you can guess I personally take this idea seriously but most Canadians and most Americans, will think that I am joking so it seems to be appropriate to put this in the Political Satire Forum. Note: Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Conservatives backed a proposal from a NDP Member of Parliament to make Canada's Employment Insurance program more useful to all Canadians so I consider that to be a precedent to what I am proposing under the existing rather extreme set of circumstances?
Do you know how rare it is for a Canadian political leader to get five point seven million views? Mr. Pierre Poilievre may be one of Canada's most skilled political comedians in decades.

Could these proposed 407 Dollars hold the key to economic unity between the USA and Canada? In theory, yes!
Based on my understanding of the 1932 Worgl Austria Local Money Experiment as a precedent to the USA "New Deal" I do believe that Premier Doug Ford may well be in a position to turn the highway system of Ontario into an idea that transforms the highway systems of all of Canada and all of the USA and leads to the Canadian and USA Dollars going to Par Value?

Requirements for stablecoin issuers
The Act defines an “issuer” as any person that issues a stablecoin, where to “issue” means to create the stablecoin and to make it available for purchase, directly or indirectly, by a person in Canada, and where “stablecoin” refers to a digital asset that is intended or designed to maintain a stable value relative to the value of one fiat currency and that has the characteristics, if any, provided for in the regulations to the Act. The Act applies only in respect of stablecoins that have or could reasonably be expected to have interprovincial or international applications.
Under the Act, issuers must register with the Bank of Canada in accordance with prescribed procedures and must also provide certain information, including with respect to: (i) ownership, organization, and structure; (ii) technological systems; (iii) redemption, governance, risk management, data security, and recovery and resolution policies; and (iv) enforcement history. Issuers will also require a statement from an independent lawyer as to whether the measures adopted enable the issuer to comply with certain requirements relating to its reserve of assets as well as a statement from an independent certified accountant of the issuer’s financial condition.
Stablecoins must be redeemable 1:1 with the referenced fiat currency and backed by a reserve composed exclusively of the referenced fiat currency, or certain other high-quality liquid assets, that:
- has a value that is equal to or greater than the par value of outstanding stablecoins;
- is not used for any purpose other than to redeem outstanding stablecoins; and
- is not subject to any encumbrance other than as may be permitted by the regulations.
