Utterly meaningless. Government employees stay at Super 8, Red Roof Inn, and comparable places. No way would the Government pay for a high-end place like a Trump property.

If they write the bill so that no tax funds can go to any President's private businesses, Republican, Democrat, Independent, etc., then that seems fair. But if the bill is written to target Trump only I can't imagine some well-versed lawyer wouldn't beat that down in about 15 minutes.
