The OP for this topic could go in a few other sub-forums here, but this seemed the best. Plus this thread isn't just about Kelsey Grammer's issue.

Kelsey Grammer just gave Hollywood the middle finger with this bold faith project

...

Hollywood has been trying to destroy Kelsey Grammer for years.

The entertainment industry thought they finally had him cornered after his Trump endorsements.

And Kelsey Grammer just gave Hollywood the middle finger with this bold faith project.

Grammer doubles down after Hollywood's assassination celebration

Kelsey Grammer spent decades building one of the most successful careers in television history playing Frasier Crane.

Now he's using that success to produce projects that make Hollywood elites lose their minds.

Grammer just announced "Bernadette: The Musical" opens February 12, 2026 in Chicago at the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture.

The show tells the story of St. Bernadette Soubirous, a 14-year-old French peasant girl who reported 18 visions of the Virgin Mary in 1858.

Grammer serves as lead producer alongside Pierre Ferragu.

The musical drew more than 400,000 audience members in its original run in France and was named the official show of the Year of Jubilee 2025 in Italy.Âą

This announcement comes just months after Grammer torched Hollywood for celebrating the assassination attempt on President Trump.

"After President Trump was shot, the only echo reverberating through my so-called 'community' was a regret that the assassin failed to kill him," Grammer wrote in a fundraising email endorsing Republican Senate candidate Curtis Bashaw.²

Hollywood wanted Grammer to shut up and fade away after those comments.

Instead, he's launching a nationwide tour of a musical about a Catholic saint.

Not noticing an "anti christian bias" in Hollywood.

Also not noticing anyone "they to destroy" him.

He made a real attempt at destroying himself with drug abuse and shit but that wasn't "Hollywood" except in the most general sense.

Good for him. I wish him success.

I think that it is awesome that so many in Hollywood are becoming open about their own personal spirituality.

Kelsey Grammer's Jesus Revolution Exclusive REVEALED!

Kelsey Grammer shares his heart about playing the role of Chuck Smith in Jesus Revolution!

Kelsey Grammer actually is playing the role of a rather famous pastor.

Charles Ward Smith (June 25, 1927 – October 3, 2013) was an American pastor who founded the Calvary Chapel movement. Beginning with the 25-person Costa Mesa congregation in 1965, Smith's influence now extends to "more than 1,000 churches nationwide and hundreds more overseas",<a href="Chuck Smith (pastor) - Wikipedia"><span>[</span>1<span>]</span></a> some of which are among the largest churches in the United States. He has been called "one of the most influential figures in modern American Christianity."<a href="Chuck Smith (pastor) - Wikipedia"><span>[</span>1<span>]</span></a> The founding of Calvary Chapel is depicted in the 2023 film Jesus Revolution, with Smith being portrayed by Kelsey Grammer.

This trailer will give you a good idea of what the movie is about. This looks quite funny, and encouraging. I think that it is great to see Jonathan Roumie also in this movie.

Here is another interview about the movie "Jesus Revolution."

It's probably an access to roles/casting thing. But even Hollywood can't keep from promoting good over evil. Evil doesn't sell. Everyone wants a hero to win and they want their heroes to be good.

Now that I have researched this a little further there is a whole lot of drama being dealt with in the movie "Jesus Revolution."

Lonnie's friend says that Lonnie had a "Samson anointing" which is a powerful encouragement for all that he went through but how God worked out what was accomplished through his life.

Lonnie Frisbee's Deathbed Confession - The Jesus Revolution Evangelist

Lonnie Frisbee is considered one of the most powerful evangelists in revival history. In this video, Lonnie's best friend shares his deathbed confession. If you're a fan of Jesus Revolution or just want to learn more about Lonnie Frisbee, then this is the video for you. In this confession, Lonnie shares his life story and how he's been reconciled to God through Jesus. You'll never look at evangelism the same way again after watching this video! In the 1970s, Greg Laurie and a sea of young people descend on sunny Southern California to redefine truth through all means of liberation. Inadvertently, Laurie meets a charismatic street preacher and a pastor who open the doors to a church to a stream of wandering youth. What unfolds is a counterculture movement that becomes the greatest spiritual awakening in American history.

The final years of Lonnie Frisbee bring up a topic that was shown in depth to near death experiencer Christian Andreason.

[Christian Andreason] :

12. What about sexually diverse people?

If this world was to ever find out just a small amount of what sexually diverse (gay) people are here to do on this planet, there would never be one single wisecrack or hurtful remark made ever again. Instead there would be great respect! People who speak disrespectful things about people of this orientation … enact judgment, and do so from a place of unenlightenment, insecurity, ego and socially induced prejudice. Some may use mistranslated scriptures taught to them, not by the Holy Spirit … but by fear-filled human beings. Many will choose to sustain a divinely unsupported satanic hate-based rage against these children of God, rather than using love to bring understanding and healing between both peoples. Christ said, THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT IS THAT WE ARE TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER! When people sling condemnation, judgment and bitterness at others, they are not practicing the great commandment. They are allowing their souls to fall into darkness.

When I got to heaven, one of the first things I asked was about the very issue of bisexuality, as it had caused me a great deal of concern my whole life. My lady guide walked me to a room that had a large screen in it. On the screen, I saw two forms of light conjoining with one another in the act of making love. My guide then asked me to tell her which was the male and which was the female? I said, “I dunno!” She smiled at me and said it does not matter. She went on to say that the two lights were what God saw when he looked upon us. She explained that God always sees us as our higher selves and that gender is a very temporary thing that will not be around forever. It was further explained to me that God himself is both a Mother essence and a Father essence to us, therefore; God fully understands our attractions for members of similar genders. It was told to me (or rather I was reminded) that there are no mistakes in the way each of us were made. God knew what each of us would be challenged and blessed with. We each act according to our heart (or developed soul center) and as we mature spiritually, we come up higher each time.

One other thing I was shown was a couple engaging in activities that focused on lust rather than love. My lady guide said that these individuals were in great spiritual duress and bringing upon themselves a life that would present much challenge. I saw that their soul lights began to dim significantly and there was a dark haze all about them. My lady guide then told me a time would come when these individuals would need to learn to come to God with their sexual selves, so that he could help them to use their sexuality in a more loving way. More than likely, emotional or mental illness would emerge and help guide them to a more loving path of expression. As I looked upon the figures, I sadly commented that lust was a major factor that involved many gay people. The lady smiled at me and explained that all fall into lust before we fully embrace the light within ourselves. Later the lady also revealed to me that the two dimly beings in spiritual duress … had been a married heterosexual couple.

Near death experiencer Christian Andreason was shown that LUST was a big problem whether somebody is heterosexual or homosexual.

After the fifteen minute mark in this interview, is an account of Lonnie Frisbee praying for a church and something really unusual happens to them after Lonnie prays.

Lonnie tells this church that they had offended the Holy Spirit but that the Holy Spirit had forigiven them and would begin to work powerfully through them, beginning that very day.

Lonnie Frisbee Told Me Something I'll Never Forget…

Here is a documentary that was made about Lonnie Frisbee, the Hippie preacher that is the real basis for the movie that Kelsey Grammar is starring in.

FRISBEE The Life And Death Of A Hippie Preacher FULL LENGTH DOCUMENTARY FEATURE

8,751 views Aug 4, 2024

In the 1970s Lonnie Frisbee became widely known as California’s “hippie preacher,” the quintessential “Jesus freak” whose pictures frequented such magazines as Time and Life as the media told the story of a burgeoning “Jesus movement” across North America. Lonnie was part of one of the first Christian hippie outposts in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury district before joining the fledgling Calvary Chapel church in Costa Mesa, California. Though he only stayed there for four years, from 1968 to 1971, Lonnie Frisbee was the charismatic sparkplug that launched the “little country church” into a worldwide ministry and propelled some of its then fledgling leaders into some of the most powerful movers and shakers of the evangelical movement. FRISBEE offers insights as told by Lonnie's friends and family—complemented by rare and unseen archival pictures and film footage. This documentary tells the story of a simple man whom God empowered to fulfill a grand purpose, and who suffered mistreatment by his spiritual overseers because of his honesty and his struggles. For anyone who has suffered the abuses of organized religion but still wants to hold on to faith, Lonnie Frisbee’s life is a testament that God still finds favor among regular everyday people.
