Being a cop is supposed to be a profession where discipline and restraint go hand in hand with the badge and the gun (meaning the right or authority) to employ even deadly physical force in some cases).

In my estimation, most police officers try hard to maintain their cool even under provocation. But of course there are some who abuse their authority for one reason or another.

Off hand, I’d say these are fairly shitty times to be working as a cop.
