Our feckless "allies" deindustrializing. Same in Germany.
They talk tough, talk war against Russia, and they do this.
They have killed NATO, not Trump.
The CCP owns these, and blamed (LOL) Trump tariffs, but British energy policies and allowing the CCP to own steel making in the UK is the villain here.

The closure will signal the end of virgin steel production in Britain, following the end of primary steel making in Port Talbot last year. Britain has been producing the alloy since the 1850s, with the metal playing a key role in the industrial revolution.
Virgin steel is produced directly from raw materials such as iron and coke. The Government has been pushing for producers to switch to greener electric furnace production, which recycles existing steel. Critics have said this will make Britain more reliant on imports from abroad.
British Steelās decision will raise concerns about national security as ministers seek to ramp up domestic defence manufacturing.
On Wednesday, Sarah Jones, the energy minister, told the business select committee: āThere is a debate to be had about how we as a country define the importance of steel whether youāre talking about virgin steel making or steel more broadly.
āThere is a reason why Russia bombed all the blast furnaces in Ukraine pretty much straight away; because countries need steel not just for defence but to build the roads and the infrastructure.ā
Asked whether the UK needs virgin steel, she said: āYes.ā
Ben Houchen, the Tees Valley mayor, warned Britain was āless safeā as a result of British Steelās decision and claimed unions had āwreckedā efforts to rescue the blast furnaces by pushing their own āunworkable planā.
He said: āThis is devastating for Britain. Losing our ability to make steel in a world as insecure as this is not just short-sighted, itās dangerous.
āA country that canāt make its own steel is a country thatās less safe and less sovereign. Labour must get back round the table and do whatever it takes to save this industry. They cannot let the flame go out on their watch.ā
