Why does it come as a surprise when the media and democrats downplayed two assassination attempts on Trump's life? Anybody remember James Hodgkinson? Probably not because the media quickly forgot the attempt to assassinate every republican congressman at a baseball practice a couple of months after Trump's first inauguration. Democrats and the media laughed it off when senator Schumer organized a gang to terrorize members of the Supreme Court. Bomb threats/death threats/fake powder deliveries have become so easy to make they don't even move the needle unless an actual or dummy device is there, or someone is in the area, or the powder is actually dangerous.

Swatting on the other hand, is a very very bad thing, that has resulted in deaths.
