A number of bad things regarding this bill.

The main one is is spends too much and cuts hardly at all.

We need the government to cut by 1/2 its current spending. Full Stop.

This is better than nothing and far better than anything the left would come up with. But this is a failure of a bill regarding fiscal conservatism.

Yay! The party of fiscal responsibility adds another $3.3 trillion to the debt so Trump can give himself another multi-million dollar tax cut!

"Yeahbut...he donates his salary..."

That fight is in September when hopefully an actual budget will be passed and not another continuing resolution spam.

And will be on its way to Trump's desk to be signed. After much rigamarole, speeches and predictions of mass death, the One Big Beautiful Bill has passed the House and will make it to Trump's desk to be signed before the July 4th deadline. The final tally was 218-214.

Hakeem "Jim Crow" Jeffries tried to filibuster it, and his party stayed silent for his racist rant.

Not the time to raise taxes and slow economic growth.
It is time to get debt under control, it was wrong under Bush, Obama, Biden and Trump.

I am tired of Democrats making excuses for Democrat spending and Republicans making excuses for Republican spending, I can’t see how you can justify either one, we are over $34 trillion in debt and will now go up even more.
