Brandon Herrera for head of the ATF?

DOubtful, but it would be funny.
Someone should first ask, what exactly does the ATF do now?

"As my first action - the ATF will no longer enforce the national Firearms act of 1934, as amended. Anyone who wants to can add their NFA weapon to the registry but is no longer required to do so."

All three are legal why the fuck do we need a Federal Agency to oversee any of it?
Alcohol is controlled by states per the Constitution. Tobacco? Really?
If the ATF were really going after straw purchasers and illegal gun rings it would be one thing, but...they aren't.

As far as Tobacco goes prices are different in each state and one could buy cheap ciggarets, and other tobacco products take them to Florida and sell them to neighbors, at work and make a nice profit. But Florida wants their tax money so if their blue stamps isn't on the pack of cigaretts you go to jail. Bringing the products across state lines makes it a federal issue. My cousin got caught in that situation.

Could this happen?

I can't imagine a world where the leader of the ATF actually understands how a firearm works.

The BATF could be liquidated to day & no American citizen would notice any change what so ever. The BATF as it stands now is just part of the swamp, a drain on society @ best.
