Good piece. Many good examples.

Braceras: MSNBC race-baiting a team effort | Boston Herald

....

In apologizing on Twitter for the MSNBC Cheerios tweet, the network tweeted this statement:

“Earlier, this account tweeted an offensive line about the new Cheerios ad. We deeply regret it. It does not reflect the position of MSNBC.”

Except that, unfortunately, it does.

First thing MSNBC needs to do is put Chris Matthews out to pasture.

NO!

Too much horse shit in the pasture already!

Maybe we can get the EPA to shut him down as a contributor to global warming and they can figure out some place to store him.

I'm not sure you know what race-baiting is.

Unless you believe right-wing is code for "white people".

Anyway, just a dumb comment, but NOT race-baiting.

We'll let you know when we see some real race-baiting.

I do know what race-baiting is. I didn't call it race-baiting. I quoted the title of the piece as I found it.

The term I generally choose when I talk about what slimewads such as Chris Matthews and other MSNBC luminaries do is "race-hustling" but I chose not to make that disclaimer in my OP. The truths of the essay transcend the semantic difficulty.

You're on the right track, but first thing? The race pimp Al Sharpton would be the first on the chopping block if I had the call. With Chrissy following a nanosecond behind.
