For bosnian or balkan muslims islam is their identity they differenciate themselfes through it and they like turks but they do not wear burqa and are not religious zealots

But another thing: i heard of a family who cancelled the marriage between their son and a girl because the mother of the girl is serb but her father is muslim she identifies as muslim and is even religious muslim
The mother of the son apparently said things like 'i want to go to hadz but i will feel guilty if my grandchildren are not pure muslims'

I facepalmed a bit because everyone can be muslim and go to hadz i could be muslim and go to hadz too what is a 'pure muslim'?
