When they are alerted they freeze in an attempt to be less noticeable. When overwhelmed with fear they can easily go into shock. Her blank fixated stare & total lack of resistance when the concerned gentleman lifted her up & into his arms tells me she had given up & had accepted her fate. Fortunately an every day Joe swung into action & became her savior. Just one of the every day unsung heroes doing what is right!
