And if the decent black folks in their community won't stop the "foolishness," relations between whites and blacks is going to get much worse.

Is racism over used as a catchall in the black community as an excuse for a lack of advancement in society? I don't know, I'm not part of the black community. I'll take the woman's word for it that it happens.

Let's just not pretend that because there's a grain of salt in what she says racism can be discounted as a reason for the lack of assimilation.

I once suggested that a major cause of the problems in the black underclass - poverty, poor educational attainment, high crime rates - was the 73% out-of-wedlock rate. Multiple studies hav confirmed the correlation.

Little did I realize at that time - I was rather new - that suggesting that blacks have some responsibility in regard to their problems was a big no-no. The blacktivists and white leftists came at me with a vengeance, screaming every nasty name in the book.

If 100% of the black kids had a father, that doesn't mean they'd be better. You're assuming that the fathers aren't bad themselves. They're out there committing crimes, going to jail, losing their jobs, selling drugs and living the gangsta life.
Even black kids with decent fathers buy into that whole ghetto life crap. Especially in their teens and 20's.

Odd, back in the day in my factory town blacks worked at the same plant as whites and they got married, raised kids, etc. but lived in their own enclaves.

There they kept their homes in good repair and sent their kids to the same schools I attended. No ethnic strife at all.

I don't know when that changed but now the black enclaves left are mostly mini-hoods where the goblins out of DC and Murdermore go to hide out when the heat is on till they get ratted out and arrested.

Half the enclaves are simply gone, the old homes torn down, andwhite folks live there now. Our black population actually decreased.

One of the pillars of a healthy society is a strong foundation based on the family. Another pillar is a strong sense of shared positive culture. The black community seems to be plagued by fatherless families and a strange love for gangsta culture. But the black community has an even bigger problem: The democrap party. The party needs big voting blocs to survive so it does everything possible to keep the black community voting democrap. So much that it funds and even prioritizes fatherless families and then tells the black community their plight is because of the white community victimizing them with racism, thus encouraging gangsta culture. The biggest enemy of the black man is the white liberal. Malcolm X warned the black community half a century ago.
