The globalists will use this travel season to ram through as many facial scans as possible before things get more dicey under Trump. Tell them NO.

Biden's TSA Facial Scans Take Center Stage: US Senators Warn Travelers That China-Style Facial Recognition Scans Are Out of Control, Optional

In a surprise display of agreement across party lines, a bipartisan group of US senators, nearly half of what is required to pass legislation, have challenged the TSA’s accelerated program of collecting facial recognition data which can identify people at a distance with street cameras.

Facial recognition scans are based on the kind of high resolution images which can be taken by any cellphone camera or the special equipment now being deployed by the TSA at airports. The technology gives facial recognition cameras the data they require to identify people going about their business in public, without them knowing it.

The system is a hallmark of the Chinese government’s total, 24/7 surveillance regime, in which the movements of every person except perhaps elites and high party officials are monitored, and all movements stored in a database.

Gizmodo reports on November 22, 2024:

“A bipartisan group of 12 senators has urged the Transportation Security Administration’s inspector general to investigate the agency’s use of facial recognition, saying it poses a significant threat to privacy and civil liberties.

The letter was signed by Jeffrey Merkley (D-OR), John Kennedy (R-LA), Ed Markey (D-MA), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Roger Marshall (R-Kansas), Ron Wyden (D-OR), Steve Daines (R-MT), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), and Peter Welch (D-VT).”

Biometric Update reported on the same day:

“Senator Merkley’s advocacy resonates with Americans concerned about the growing encroachment of surveillance in public spaces, a fear that many Republicans share. While proponents of facial recognition argue that the technology enhances security, opponents contend that it sets a dangerous precedent. They warn of a future where constant monitoring becomes normalized, eroding the expectation of privacy in everyday life.”

Is Trump “In the Way” of China-Style Dystopia Based on Facial Recognition? Or is He Deep State?

Trump was fond of saying during his first term, “They are not after me, they are after you, I’m just in the way.” Trump never fully explained what he meant by this, but as he begins his second presidency, anyone watching the approaching facial recognition, digital credit financial system used to control the population in China can see that it is being attempted here. And whether Trump stops it or allows it will either save American freedom, or end it once and for all.

The federal government is already “offering” an option to submit a video selfie, a centerpiece of the system, as a biometric identification by which anyone can be picked out by a street facial recognition camera. The platform is Login.gov, by which Americans access everything from social security to veterans benefits.

The lead promoters for this kind of dystopia, where an anti-government social media post can be punished by shutting someone’s money off, are Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum (WEF), the latter of which once said someday “You will own nothing, and you will be happy.”

Schwab wrote in his 2017 book The Fourth Industrial Revolution:

“Any package, pallet or container can now be equipped with a…radio frequency identification (RFID) tag…similar monitoring systems will also be applied to the movement and tracking of people.”

In the Chinese system high resolution “selfies,” which any cellphone camera can make, tie into a central database which matches a person’s facial data to all of their financial, medical, and personal information, including a “social credit score” which ranks every individual according to the government’s scoring system for “good behavior.”

For anyone who thinks this is science fiction, the mainstream The Hill in 2021 published what seemed like a trial balloon “Coming soon: America’s own social credit system.”

It is essentially a 24/7 punishment and reward system in which governments, with no due process and no recourse, deliver punishments, for example, for being critical of the government. The punishment could be a fine, a reduction in one’s social credit score, or shutting down one’s ability to travel or buy anything, including food.

But the system cannot work without facial recognition ID, which identifies all people from street cameras and monitors where one is at all times, fed into a massive artificial intelligence database.

In the US, the federal and state governments are attempting to quietly introduce facial recognition into widely used systems such as Social Security and unemployment benefits, but citizens have pushed back. For example in Massachusetts, officials attempted to partner with the facial recognition giant ID.me in forcing unemployment benefits beneficiaries to submit to a “video selfie,” which gathers all the information necessary to positively identify anyone from a street camera such as those used in China. Public outcry forced the state to retreat from the video selfie requirement.

Where does Trump come into all of this? Intriguingly, Trump has shown some understanding of the oppressiveness of the Chinese system, and vowed in January 2024 “to protect Americans from government tyranny.”

Trump said in 2024: “As your president, I will never allow the creation of a central bank digital currency,” referring to the system of debits and credits that the Fed is proposing to replace all other forms of transaction, including cash. A person’s account would be linked to his or her biometric – i.e. facial recognition – ID.

The system would give the Fed and government bureaucrats complete control over all sales and purchases and intrude into every aspect of daily life, regardless of promised “safeguards.”

Central bank digital currency, – CBDC – is completely different from crypto currency. CBDC is not really money but more akin to a ledger of debits and credits at a company store.

Western governments and bankers have shown eagerness to weaponize financial systems, with no due process or recourse, to punish critics, whistleblowers, or anyone deemed guilty by bureaucrats of citing “misinformation.” In 2022 Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau worked with financial institutions to freeze the bank accounts of truckers who were protesting his COVID vaccine mandates. A CBDC-digital ID financial system would have made Trudeau’s attack as easy as a keystroke on a computer.

Justin Trudeau is one of Klaus Schwab’s and WEF’s authoritarian vanguard of “Young Global Leaders,” along with CA Gov. Gavin Newsom, Bill Gates, and many other influential politicians.

The first Trump administration reversed a plan to mandate that US citizens traveling internationally undergo photographic facial scans to verify their identities. In December of 2019, after a public outcry, Dan Tanciar, a deputy executive director at US Customs and Border Protection, said facial recognition technologies at airports will “always be optional” for Americans.

Nevertheless, many freedom and civil liberties advocates, such as the ACLU, are wary of the continuing spread of facial recognition technology and point out that, just like the COVID vaccine in 2021, submission could go from optional to mandatory overnight, with no apology or explanation.

The only true safeguard would be national laws which explicitly ban the use of facial recognition as a general surveillance tool or a form of government ID. This would cripple the best efforts of bureaucrats and agencies to emulate their counterparts in China.

Ironically, banning mandatory or coerced facial recognition might be one of the few areas where Republicans and Democrats can agree. Already, bipartisan bills have been introduced to fight the creep of facial recognition into US society, led by Democrat Sen. Ed Markey and Bernie Sanders.

Whether Trump is really “in the way” of widespread facial recognition is unknown, and will be up to the base. Trump is nothing if not a good listener to his base, as evidenced by how quickly he peddled back from the COVID vaccines when he got tired of getting booed at his rallies. Otherwise, with unconstitutional, 24/7 warrantless surveillance in place on every square inch of the planet, as elites have planned, Orwell’s dystopian image of the future of humanity as a “boot stamping on a human face, forever” will come to pass.

The reality is that for most americans, the cellphone in their pocket already allows them to track you. It is just a matter of getting a warrant for the info. It is why there is starting to be a legal pushback against geofencing.

I guarantee this idea will fail...and then a few months from now be quickly passed in the dead of night after the public has forgotten about it.

Another bureaucracy creating laws circumventing the legislature.

This is another reason Trump won.
