Found out from local LE a "protest" is set for 7 pm. They are supposedly being bused in from elsewhere. I went to the area where they are supposed to be and saw nothing but local LE and local citizens all armed standing with the police. Guess they decided to call it off.

They came through here last week—marching down the main drag a couple of miles west, spewing their garbage and chanting their jibber jabber. The County Mounties escorted them from town limit to town limit and then they fucked off to somewhere else. The next day the mob surrounded our county sheriff's HQ and demanded he come out and kneel before them. He sent a PR person to inform them he was otherwise occupied and couldn't make it. My guess is he was taking a nap in his office. Bravo, Sheriff. I guess they're still whining and moaning down in Baltimore, though. I haven't checked for a few days.
