Back to the topic here, it seems to me that 14,000 homeless in Arizona is a very low number, especially considering the spike caused by the transition back from COVID eviction rules. 14,000 is something like 0.2% of the population.

As far as who is doing well, I'd say it is the same folks who have done well ever since the recovery from the 2008 Great Recession. That being corporate shareholders, and owners of mutual funds, ETFs, 401Ks, IRAs. One group doing especially well have been oil company shareholders as after COVID their company CEOs reacted to complaints about lagging profits and shareholder value throughout the 2010s.
