Monday, ...Oz Prime Minister Anthony Albanese (pron 'Alba neasy'), Ambassador Rudd, mining experts/executives and trade officials will meet with President Trump in the White House.
Hopefully they'll be listened to respectfully and not treated like Zelenskyy was.
If they are treated like he was, hopefully it won't be televised.
If Trump berates them (PM and Ambassador Rudd said dreadful things about President Trump in the past...very disrespectful things), then many would understand.
The world is going to hell in a hand basket, so bigger things than personal insults are in play.

The future of 27 million Australians depends on the decisions made at this meeting.
Economic future, national security future, cultural future.

Be respectful to us, we'll return the favor.

Start shit, and we will fill your bedroom with brown recluse spiders!

LOL. Just kidding. It won't be just your bedroom.

The leader of Australia is not very popular. He isn't as unpopular as Starmer of the U.K but it's close and they have even MORE Chinese influencers in their government.

It's not for the U.S to prove anything to the Aussies, it is up to their leadership to justify their adherence to Western Values of freedom and such. The Fives Eyes network is surely in jeopardy due to the efforts of the MSS in American allied nations. At least the U.S is loud about it, confronting the threat after ignored it for many years.

Pity 'Albo' and Rudd didn't have the wisdom of Aussie actress Nicole Kidman.
When Trump was elected President the first time...when asked about him she said:
"Australians respect the Office of the President of the United States, no matter who occupies that Office".
Correct, the majority do exactly that.
70% of voters at the last election did not vote for Left/Far Left 'Albo' and the Left/Far Left Labor Party.
The stoopid 'Preferential' voting system saw them voted into power again.
Anyway, the mining and trade execs are smart people, hopefully they'll do most of the talking.

More than a few people downunder seem to think that President Trump and his officials, in their rush to "America first/only", might not know enough about Australia to make wise decisions.

Well, lets hope that they have a productive conversation.

If you show Trump respect he will show you respect.

Australia is not the enemy, .......and Albo and co would be very well advised not go to this meeting with the US President at the White House with anything other than impeccable manners, polite conversation no matter what happens, and the utmost respect for where they are and with whom they're meeting.......lest they give the impression it is.

Downunder political commentators and the People are watching and waiting, hoping for the best.

The Aussie delegates were received well at the White House and they got what they wanted such as a minerals deal and Trump's backing for AUKUS. But the former prime minister, Kevin Rudd, was an exception. Trump asked Albanese, "Where is he? Does he still work for you?" When Rudd began to say, "That was before I took this position, Mr. President," Trump interrupted him, saying, "I don't like you either. I don't like you. And I probably never will."
