If he was a hundred and five year old with a cardiac arrest they would have still said its us.

We lost 5 people today, the heart doesn't contain much ache, since the Fogel family carnage we learned nothing.

It's called the 'cycle of violence' it cannot be stopped by more violence.

Savages.

6 dead.

Four Israelis were killed and several others wounded in a terror attack on Tuesday morning in a synagogue in the western Jerusalem neighborhood of Har Nof.

Two assailants were killed at the scene by police, with a third possibly on the loose in the area.

Eight people were wounded in the assault, including four seriously, two moderately and two lightly. Magen David Adom ambulances administered first aid to the wounded before evacuating them to hospitals in the city. Five were taken to Hadassah University Hospital, Ein Karem, and the rest to Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

The shooting occured at the Kehillat Bnei Torah synagogue on Shimon Agassi St.

Israel Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said two assailants entered the synagogue on Tuesday with knives, axes and guns and attacked worshipers. The attackers were killed in a shootout with police.

Samri said the attackers were Palestinians from East Jerusalem.

Large police forces are at the scene of the attack, and Palestinians reported that several police were in the East Jerusalem neighborhoods of Silwan and Jabal Mukaber.

Eliyahu Rotenberg, who resides near the synagogue, described what he witnessed of the attack. "We heard the sirens (of police vehicles) and I went outside and saw police taking cover and shooting. Many shots were fired and I saw one of the police get wounded and the terrorists being killed."

Following the attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called a Security Cabinet meeting at the Prime Minister's Bureau, to be held this afternoon.

Netanyahu said incitement by Hamas and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas motivated attacks on Jews. "This is a direct result of the incitement lead by Hamas and Abu Mazen (Abbas), incitement that the international community irresponsibly ignores.

"We will respond with a firm hand to this brutal murder of Jews who went to pray and were scathed by despicable murder."

Another terrible sectarian killing with 6 dead and many more injured.
For those who dislike violence, it is a terrible act.
For those who dislike only Palestinian violence, it is an excuse for more Israeli violence.

One thing that is very likely: While Israel treats Palestinians as third class citizens similar acts will be done by those driven to desperation. Time for Israel to question how it can de-escalate violence and injustice.

It is true. No action to take Palestine, to destroy Gaza to sweep Jerusalem clear of non-Jews could make this right.
Much better that peace is made, and the only possible peace is where Jews and Muslims and Christians and atheists have the same rights and the same privileges, and show restraint and respect towards each other.

Making Jerusalem a zone administered by the international community would be a good move.

The Palestinians already said they would not accept any national force in "Palestine" as they see it like exchanging one "occupation" with another.

So good luck with that unrealistic solution.

They keep whining about Jews in Al-Aqsa while we bury our dead.

Except that the Palestinians don't want peace.

If you pick and chose the negative statements you can prove anything you like.
Only you would be fooling yourself Lipush.

Justice is what they want. Their own autonomy. Control of their land and fair access to water.
Right now peace with Palestinians would be at a bargain price. Just settle on whether you want a 1 state solution - with everyone an equal citizen, or a two state solution, or a confederation and make a decent offer without insisting that being Jewish is superior to being something else.

But the reality is that Israel still feels it can get much more by continuing the violence.
Let's see if the reaction is one to encourage more resistance, or to de-escalate ...

First thing I learn about justice, it's in the eye of the beholder, totally subjective. What we see as justice they don't, and vise versa.

If their own atonomy is what they were really after, they would have done completely different thing for peace. Catalonia wants its own independence. I don't see Spanish civilians' blood spilled like water because of it!

The Palestinian wish one Palestine, with no Jews, so one-state solution or two-states solution, eiter one wouldn't be accepted by them, which is the thing Palestinian appologists ignore

And right now, all we see is Jewish blood spilled in our holiest of places, our soft stomach, while you guys complain about Jews praying in AlAqsa.

If it wasn't so sad, it would have beem funny.

Among the critically injured, Officer Ziyan Seef, from Yanuh village of the Galilee.

Was injured while trying to save the people of the synagogue, fighting for his life.

Again, our Druze brothers pay the heavy price while constantly fighting for The State of Israel. We love our brothers and wish them all the best. May the officer gain full and complete recovery of body and mind.
