Rejecting all violence against all civilians, Zein passionately told Morgan that Muslims and Christians lived side by side and in peace with their Jewish neighbours in the Arab countries before the creation of the state of Israel and the dispossession of the Palestinian people.

"The United States has given permission for Israel to [commit] genocide on the ground," she said.
