I was watching a documentary and sort of just let my PBS app pick the next show for me to have on while I do some other work. Antiques Roadshow came up and they are showing an episode from 2009. Nothing unusual about that. Despite the lies told by those who are woefully uninformed, PBS isn’t swimming in cash from the CPB or what have you....
What is different about the current showing of this episode is that they re-appraised the items that were featured. So you can see if the appraisal price has risen or fallen since 2009. Pretty interesting to see how often they got it right and the price has gone up.
