In the next escalation of the administration putting the screws to the crimson, the Homeland Secretary has ordered the revokation of Harvard's ability to enroll international students. Effective immediately. The 6,800 international students already there must transfer to another school or lose their student visas. Since international students generally do not qualify for financial aid and therefore pay full tuition and room and board up front in full, this is a big hit at Harvard. Of course Harvard has vowed to challenge this action and not bend to pressure as they have all along, but you can bet there is some sweatin' goin' on in Cambridge.

I don't think so. Enrolling internatonal students is not a right enumerated in the Constitution.
A lot of things aren’t enumerated

But arbitrary and capricious actions targeted at one university without a national interest goes beyond his presidential powers

Oh, it's not just one university. Noem has indicated that this is coming for any university that coddles supporters of terrorists.

Well.... If they will simply stop supporting terrorism they might find it beneficial.
The funny thing is that many of the other universities around New England look at Harvard as "too conservative."

Well then good for her

I imagine she has proof that will stand up in court
She did stumble a bit on that habeas corpus stuff

She doesn't have to. There is no "right" to enroll international students. The process is actually pretty convoluted and beaurocratic.

Can you just imagine the reaction if they were intimidating the black students instead of the Jewish?

This is a good way to distinguish between the antisemites and non antisemites. If they don't care when it is a Jewish person when they would be screaming bloody murder if it was any other group, we're talking antisemitism.

Harvard is a private business and can make their own rules

Is Trump going to regulate foreign engineers and scientists at Tesla?

Then shouldn't have any problem forgoing the billions in dollars from the Federal gvt. and relying on Gvt. visas for their students.
