It is unlikely Trump would tell where he got the money, but equally unlikely it could be concealed for more than a week or two, especially if it is a foreign country that assists. It looks like he has exhausted legitimate companies and institutions. It is not unlikely, that he would sell his loyalty and influence for the money. He is very transactional, to say the least. I kind of lean toward the fire sale option.
