Ancient Celtic Village in Austria

That would have been the home of the Dacian's back in the Roman Empire in the 3rd century, and they were a continual problem for the empire. Once the 3rd century rolled around they could no longer punish them for incursions into Italy and tried buying them off. They were a fierce people, and much stronger than when Emporer Trajan invaded and defeated them over a 100 years earlier.

They migrated from Macedonia and where Alexander the Great was born.

Recipes for what the Celts might have eaten back then. It is based on the foods that we know they already had.
