I feel bad for the young athletes, especially the future young athletes. So far in this Olympics, the shenanigans haven't been so bad that it will be embarrassing for them to even say they were in the Olympics. But if the trend continues in the next Olympics they will be that bad.

Next Olympics are in Los Angeles, so I'm not hopeful.

Here is the bottom line.

I am able to enjoy life without making every single thing about politics.

I can watch a good sporting event without taking any politics into account.

Thus I can enjoy something like the Olympics, while your life is so filled with politics there is no room for anything else.
