Supreme Court won't hear Missouri AG's attempt to delay Trump's hush money sentencing
The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected an attempt by the Republican attorney general of Missouri to delay former President Donald Trump's sentencing in his criminal hush money case in New York.
The court declined to hear Missouri's lawsuit against New York.
The brief order was unsigned but indicated that Justices Alito and Thomas would have heard the complaint.
"Missouri's motion for leave to file a bill of complaint is denied, and its motion for preliminary relief or a stay is dismissed as moot," the order said. "Justice Thomas and Justice Alito would grant the motion for leave to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief."

Let's be clear, filing this case was a political stunt with no legal standing which is why the announcement denying the motion included the word moot. Making Sam and Clarence's willingness to hear the case all the more blatant in its absurdity. Or perhaps better said in its politically motivated hackery.
If there was any pretense to a claim of impartiality left from these two justices there isn't any more. They are shamelessly all in for Repubs and they don't care who knows it. Why should they? The only recourse available to hold them accountable is impeachment so they know they are safe as Senate Repubs will protect them just as they protected Individual 1.
