The Democratic Party's actions had left many U.S. citizens feeling humiliated. Signs of a Trump victory were proclaimed well before Biden withdrew from the race. The voters had had enough.

Trump has returned to the White House—a rerun of 2016, but even more decisive. He has not only secured more than the necessary electoral votes but also won the popular vote and both houses of Congress.

This time, the American people chose to avoid risks, turning out in massive numbers to support the man most despised by the establishment.

How could the crazy Trump win a second term?

By being the sanest option Americans had to choose from.

When Joe Biden came to power in 2020, exultant CNN commentators congratulated themselves that "the grown-ups were back in the room."

But before long, Americans realized how big a scam those "grown-ups" were, and four years later, they simply turned their backs on them.

The reasons are plain to see: the Biden-Harris management generated inflation that has left prices 25% higher than in 2019.

Many impoverished citizens could not afford to vote for Harris.

Trump gendered the hope for prosperity and nostalgia for the pre-pandemic economy of his last presidency, when the stock market soared and unemployment fell to historic lows.
Under Joe Biden, Americans suffered.

I honestly don't think Trump would have been running or even been the nominee and therefore the presidency but for eight years of lawlessness, weaponization of the justice system, deep state corruption, and Democrats repeatedly taking democracy away.

Great analogy! Sometimes you just have to wonder if The Big Guy (no, not Joe Biden) is up there pushing the buttons. The mother of the recently released prisoner from Russia had met with Trump in Butler, PA just before the assasination attempt and begged Trump not to forget her son rotting in Russian jails if he won and he promised her that he wouldn't. Then the assassination attempt happened. You can't help but think things all happen for a reason and Trump just kept his promise to her. I also read a story recently that if Trump had been president from 2020-24 he would have accomplished very little compared to what he has been able to do now since demorats would have been able to stymie about everything.

In response to Trump reducing Government, Democrats best play is to shut down the Government ?? I guess it makes sense because the Democrats can only win when the American people feel pain so why not mess with their Social Security payments and healthcare?
