What a statement Mayor Zohran Mamdani could have made — if he’d hosted those two hero cops instead of a terror sympathizer at Gracie Mansion on Sunday night.

NYPD Chief Aaron Edwards and Sgt. Luis Navarro literally leapt into action on Saturday to nab the ISIS-inspired alleged bomb throwers, Emir Balat and Ibrahim Kayumi, outside the mayor’s official residence.

Having the two Finest at a Gracie Mansion meal the next evening would’ve signaled major respect for the men and women in blue who keep the city safe, and a rejection of the hateful brand of Islam that inspired the suspects.

I fully expect Mamdani to treat the protesters like Biden treated the January 6th protesters.

And like what happened January 6th, one person shot down in cold blood unarmed will be the one the media says was the bad person as the person who shot her dead was the hero, and then lock up the rest of the protesters as insurrectionists till the end of time, or until the GOP can get into office to release them.

Meanwhile, the jihadists that tried to murder the protesters with a bomb will be released back into society to do it all over again.

Corrrect - an absolute disgrace.

Mamdani has made the villains out to be the protestors - NOT the Islamic terrorists. And he made those deserving of honor Jew-hating, Israel-hating activists instead of the police who were willing to risk their own lives to save innocent people from the Islamic terrorists. And that is the message he is intentionally sending out: he stands with Islamists, and against the NYPD.

And all this happened within a week of it being disclosed that his antisemitic, anti-Israel wife “liked” the social media posts celebrating the massacre of 1200 Jews.

He is rubbing our face in it.
