In the wake of the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk, so many news anchors and media personalities have made disgusting remarks that have gotten them into trouble.

However, local Illinois ABC affiliate anchor Beni Rae Harmony is the first to be suspended after honoring Kirk’s legacy.

On Friday, Harmony, who was mentored by Charlie Kirk, gave a very beautiful, emotional tribute to her audience on-air.

She was punished for doing so and has now announced that she will be resigning from her role at WICS ABC Newschannel 20 in Springfield, IL.

No shock.
ABC is by far the worst of the broadcast networks.
At some point there needs to be accountability.

Effective immediately, I have resigned from
@WICS_ABC20
after being SUSPENDED for airing a non-partisan tribute to Charlie Kirk this past Friday.

Many in the mainstream media have been fired or punished for mocking his assassination.

I believe I am the first to be targeted for honoring him on air.

My resignation is guided by values that are essential to who I am, which I refuse to set aside in order to keep a job.

I choose my faith and love of country, and always will.

Thank you, Springfield.

My home.

My community.

My people

God Bless Charlie Kirk and his beautiful family, and God Bless these United States of America.

ABC is a vile network that pushes a WOKE agenda. I wish news organizations like this were not allowed any air time.

She is paid to be a talking head news person, not an op-ed doosh

One less tRumpling on the air.

Good riddance.

The networks push this hate, seething white hot rage against regular ordinary people. They HATE the light and everything that is good. This is a nihilistic depravity that we haven't seen before and the love will wax cold.

There is a whole thread cheering people fired for expressing dislike about Kirk. No reason you cant be fired for using company time to jerk off his followers with an unapproved tribute.

Fake news.

There is a whole thread about people fired for CHEERING the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Big ******* difference for sane people.

You...not so much.

Big difference: You like the views of one group and not the other. Great. That is your right. Just like this chick getting canned.

Yes...if you voice the opinion that a person deserves to die for peaceful expression of their political beliefs, yes, I hate that.

You should too.

But as your are evil and demonic, that isn't likely to happen.

You have no evidence I am evil and demonic. I have stated that I have no issue with these folks getting fired. Do you want me to link it? I have also said unequivocally that Kirk's death was a tragedy but one I think pales in comparison to the school kids shot every day in the US. I can link that too.

You really are getting your ass kicked in debate when you have to resort to name calling and fake accusations. Try being more informed and debate will come easier to you.

I've been reading your posts for over a decade. That's long enough to draw a sound conclusion as to your character.

You are both evil and demonic.

The proof is comparing a heartfelt eulogy and expression of heartbreak for Charlie Kirk that is the topic of this thread to a bunch of demon-spawn celebrating his assassination.

That is evil. It's evil thoughts put into evil words from a brain twisted by hatred.

If you don't wish me call you out as evil and demonic, it's a very simple process... stop being evil and demonic.

Or you can use that forked tongue to attempt to justify the evil in your posts.

Either way, I really don't care.
