Sigh I wanted this one to be real but without that poor guy getting hurt. But alas the video is misused as an example of electric cars exploding. That does not mean that there is not more risk of fire and explosion with EVS until they get all the bugs worked out. But keeping it honest. . .

When a friend sent this along to me yesterday I didn't give thought to it being real because of the guy at end getting clobbered. If I thought somebody really got hurt, I wouldn't have posted it to the "Humor" forum. That would have been pretty sick.
