Hmm...seems to be a theme eh? Perhaps blanket pardons were not the way to go?

A Florida handyman who received a pardon from President Trump for storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has been convicted of multiple state charges of child molestation and exposing himself to children, prosecutors told NPR. Andrew Paul Johnson, the pardoned rioter, attempted to bribe one victim with money he claimed he would receive as part of restitution for Jan. 6 defendants, police reported. The conviction is the latest case of a pardoned Capitol rioter committing new crimes after receiving a pardon.

On Tuesday, a jury in Hernando County, Fla., found Andrew Paul Johnson guilty of five charges, including molesting a child under 12 and another under 16, as well as lewd and lascivious exhibition. Johnson was acquitted of one charge of sending sexual material to a child.

William Forgie, the chief assistant state attorney for the fifth judicial circuit in Florida, told NPR in an email that Johnson "faces up to life in prison" when he is sentenced in March. An attorney for Johnson did not respond to a phone message seeking comment.

Criminal records of Jan. 6 rioters pardoned by Trump include rape, domestic violence

A police report from the Hernando County Sheriff's Office filed as part of Johnson's Florida case describes a pattern of abuse — including both physical sexual abuse and exposing his genitalia to children — that took place "over a many-month span." One of Johnson's victims was 11 years old at the time of the abuse.

Johnson also attempted to keep one victim quiet by claiming he would receive $10 million from the Trump administration as restitution for former Jan. 6 defendants and would share the money with the victim in his will, according to the police report. Convicted rioters and their supporters have advocated for financial reparations since Trump returned to office, though it's unclear if the administration will take that step.

One mistake compared to millions of misdeeds by released prisoners... but this one has your attention... ask yourself why you poor miserable TDS sufferer...

Counting not really your thing, is it?

The Op links three separate incidents--and if you count non-sex crimes the number add up quickly.

But this gets your instant knee-jerk response--ask yourself why...you stupid POS~

But Trump's pardons and commutations for people he has called "patriots" did not wipe away certain defendants' extensive criminal records or any other criminal charges they may be facing.

While many people had no criminal record prior to committing crimes on Jan. 6, NPR has identified dozens of defendants with prior convictions or pending charges for crimes including rape, sexual abuse of a minor, domestic violence, manslaughter, production of child sexual abuse material and drug trafficking.

One of those defendants, Matthew Huttle, was recently shot and killed by law enforcement in Indiana during a traffic stop just days after receiving a pardon for his role in the Capitol riot.

Millions of criminals are released by liberal courts and go out to commit crimes again... So once again.... why are you only interested in J-6 convicts....

I had no idea a pardon meant you are saintly in all areas of your life.
I guess we should look into the lives of everyone Biden/Clinton/0bama pardoned.

Add Johnson to the list of released sex criminals that already includes:
David Paul Daniel remains in custody on child‑sex charges despite a Jan. 6 pardon, Theodore Middendorf is accused of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, Kasey Hopkins is reported as convicted of forcible rape, and Edward Hemenway pleaded guilty to sexual battery and criminal confinement.

Hmmm.... there are and will always be liberal and conservative Judges and Jury's.
Yes, people have predilections. But the court itself is to be neither Lib or Con--and a surprisingly large number of judges, IMO the simple majority, ignore their personal politics in favor of the objective approach.

So you think Trump should have looked into his crystal ball to see who might commit crimes into the future? :laugh2:
I think Trump should have taken a strict hand-off approach--the Executive branch, by and large, should not intervene in the Judicial.
Given that this was politics, pure and simple, it's clear that Trump made a huge mistake~

Indeed, we should--and the 'tit-for-tat' approach is flawed from the start.
One President's misdeeds do not justify the misdeeds of another President,

Should be so, but for my experience pertaining to Germany in this matter - the majority is clearly glued to their party book or political affiliation.

/——/ What did Trump pardon him for? A pardon doesn’t absolve you from all crimes. If he’s convicted then ship him back to prison.

He was making sure justice was served, people in prison for 4+ years for the crime of trespassing, who mostly did far less damage than your leftie loons do in any so called 'peaceful' demonstration you put on. If you have an issue with legality of pardons, take it up with the authors of the COTUS.
