President Trump so brought it on himself.

Only he, and his foolish rats who follow his screw Pied Piper dance, are responsible for their downfall and the accompanying injury in which the US and its citizens are suffering.

President Donald Trump is currently facing his lowest approval rating on the economy for both of his two non-consecutive terms in office, according to the CNN/SSRS poll released on Wednesday (April 1).

Trump, 79, is reported to have a 31% approval rating among Americans for his handling of the economy, which is 8% less than the 39% he had in January. The president has also reportedly seen a decline of 23% among Republicans, specifically under the age of 45, in his handling of the economy since January, with 28% of respondents from the party saying his policies have worsened economic conditions, an increase of 13%.

Trump's overall approval rating was 35% with a 64% disapproval rating and 1% of respondents saying they have "no opinion" in the CNN/SSRS poll released on Wednesday. On Monday (March 30), famed polling expert Nate Silver wrote in his Silver Bulletin blog that Trump's approval rating hit a new low and appears to be continuing in that direction.

Trump was reported to have a 39.7% approval rating and a -17.4 net approval rating, both of which are new lows for his second term.

"Trump just hit a new low in our tracking. For the first time in his second term, Trump’s approval rating in our average is (just barely) below 40 percent at 39.7. And his net approval rating is -17.4, also a new low. The recent decline has been pretty steep: about 5 points of net approval over the past several weeks," Silver wrote.

The Iran War is only hurting him, our economy, and the welfare of the American people.

They will take it out on the GOP since Trump is not running in 2026.

Shucks I guess he won't be re-elected.

He's at Hoover level approvals. This will result in a landslide midterm for the Democrats.

I don't put too much stock into the polls, but I would wager that your everyday Americans aren't happy with Trump's economic policies - the Iran War, tariffs, etc are killing our economy. I feel it in my daily life. I am sure it wouldn't be much better under the Democrats, but Trump is soley responsible for the state of the economy currently. Republicans have the House, Senate and Presidency - all of our failures are on them.

Trump and MAGA have set the US and the Republican party back 50 years.

The history books will tell a story of a President and his followers being the largest shit stain on US history.

There has never been a US President that has had a bigger negative effect on the whole world including the USA. One exception, Russia loves Trump and MAQGA.

It is insane how he skyrocketed to start his second term. He had the planet on his side, Americans were ready to see their borders protected, they welcome tariffs on unfair traders, they wanted to see him fight, they supported his unusual cast of administration.

Not even CNN could stack the polls. Then he lost sight of MAGA. His administration was just angry, he sent police into cities. Worse, he started listening to the very Neo-Cons he usurped.

His 12 day war with Iran (well, one day for USA) was perfect. His grabbing of Manduro. This was all quick, rapid successes.

It is a bit unfortunate I suppose but he can recover. He needs to listen to true supporters of his who had faith he would not be another loser Establishment politician.

So many of his supporters will not be re-elected is the point.

Trump's power is dwindling, dwindling, dwindling
That's politics. :dunno: I take the long view, I look at actions, policies and the excellent trajectory that President Trump has put the country and the world on. I don't bounce off the ceiling with every tweet, every poll, every change in the stock market, every jobs number. But hey, that's just me you guys knock yourselves out.
