I will pay big bucks to see this one, but it will be free on Youtube et al videos. Smug Chicago multibillionaire governor JB Pritzker, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, and New York governor Kathy Hochul, will be getting grilled (severely no doubt) in front of the US House Oversight Committee. If the recent lambasting given to 4 sanctuary city mayors at this committee is any indication, these sanctuary criminals will be shown no mercy, the same as the 4 mayors.

In that hearing, Florida Rep, Anna Paulina Luna waved indictment papers in front of the mayors, telling them that those were going straight to the desk of US Attorney General Pam Bondi for prosecution under US Code 8, Section 1324, for harboring, concealing, shielding illegal aliens. Section 1324 has various penalties depending on ramifications within the jurisdictions.

Almost certainly this will reoccur at this hearing in June. All 3 could be facing the death penalty, as the statute provides wherin deaths occured, as resulting from violations of the statute. (ex. Debrina Kawam in New York)

Wrong.
Not only are local and state police legally able to ignore demands by ICE, it actually is totally illegal for local or state police to assist ICE in any way.
While ICE may have federal jurisdiction over immigrant, the local and state police do not and therefore can not at all do anything to immigrants.
In fact, since ICE is illegally not giving hearings, then by the 14th amendment, the state and local police are legally required to arrest ICE as criminal.

Man, you're fantasizing big time.

Do you always pull shit like this out of your butt?

While ICE may have federal jurisdiction over immigrant, the local and state police do not and therefore can not at all do anything to immigrants.

They can if the law says they can.

And even it doesn't, they still can if the policy allows it.

In fact, since ICE is illegally not giving hearings, then by the 14th amendment, the state and local police are legally required to arrest ICE as criminal.

THIS I'd like to see. lol :p

There is no law that says local or state police can do anything to immigrants, since immigration is all federal jurisdiction, and there can not be any local or state laws on immigration.

FL tried to mad\ke a state immigration law, and the judges squashed it because it violates the constitution giving immigration jurisdiction totally to the federal government.

FALSE! By enacting laws to not cooperate with ICE, they are clearly in violation of US Code 8, Section 1324, and the 4 mayors have already been submitted to DOJ for prosecution.

Read the Treaty of Guadelup Hidalgo, and you will see it is a treaty violation to interfere with migrant agricultural workers like ICE is doing.
Less than 5% of illegal aliens are agricultural workers.

They don't. Not any more. Democrat approval rate is in the mid 20s%.
Disapproval in the 60s.

Wrong.
It is Trump's approval rating that tanked, and democrats on the rebound.
{...
Trump's overall job approval rating has slid to 45%, with the other 55% showing they disapprove. This poll shows the slide from 53% approval on Feb. 9, to 51% on Mar. 2, to 47% on Apr. 13 and still sliding.

That is a lie.
US Code 8, Section 1324 says you can't bring in and harbor illegal immigrants.
Local and state police are not bringing in or harboring anyone by simply not illegally arresting people over federal immigration legislation they have no jurisdiction over.
What would be illegal is any state or local cop arresting anyone over federal legislation.

You're wrong and if this goes to SCOTUS the State and local authorities lose.
When a federal law conflicts with a state law, the federal law takes precedent.

See more:
xxxxxxxxxx

"While local police officers generally enforce state and local laws, there are instances where they may encounter federal laws and agencies, such as the FBI or DEA. In these cases, the interplay between local and federal jurisdictions can become intricate, with negotiated agreements often determining the level of cooperation between the two. Ultimately, federal laws take precedence over state laws, but the enforcement of these laws may depend on the specific circumstances and the relationships between local and federal authorities."

"However, when a federal law conflicts with a state law, the federal law takes precedent. D. There is very little cross-over between state and federal arrest authority, responsibility, or operational obligations because each is a separate sovereign entity. 1. Although an act is often a violation of both."

Bullshit. Texas has such laws, and they were upheld. The opposite is true too, any state with sanctuary laws like Colorado has them too.

You sure display a lot of ignorance and ill logic.

FL tried to mad\ke a state immigration law, and the judges squashed it because it violates the constitution giving immigration jurisdiction totally to the federal government.

It depends how the law is worded. Laws that prevent cooperation with the federal government are illegal too, but many states have them. As a matter of fact 80% of the states have legal marijuana now, and according to your logic all those laws would be illegal.

I am not impressed. Not until I see police there ready and willing to arrest these people in irons.
Instead, they will be grilled.
They will be told sanctuary cities have been deemed illegal.
The three of them will dance around with some story about the constitution, democracy and human rights.
Nothing will happen.

The hearing will be held by James Comer, the same bum who for three years laid out the case in detail of how Hunter, Biden and his brother had all taken millions of dollars in money and gifts in exchange for favors.

Then did absolutely JACK.

If the GOP could not figure out how to impeach Joe Biden in three years (democrats impeached Trump in only 6 days over a rally he did not even go to, over a protest he told attendees to obey the law on), I'll be dead before I ever see them do anything here.

no it isnt.....

The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 added Section 287(g) to the Immigration and Nationality Act, a provision that authorizes ICE to enter into agreements with state and local law enforcement agencies to allow select, properly trained officers perform immigration law enforcement

Liar

The treaty says no such thing
