While everyone else was gathering "Milk & Bread" I went to a local shop this morning and brought home a S&W 317-3 AirLite .22 revolver....It only weighs 13 oz loaded.
It's an 8-shot J-Frame .22 with a 3" barrel. Alloy construction with a steel barrel liner.
I braved the 14 degree temps and took it down to my range. I only shot it at 15 yards with CCI Standard. It did real well but after a couple cylinders I had enough of the cold/wind and got back in my warm PU and away I went.
The revolver should make for one heck of a nice .22 to tote along squirrel hunting, fishing, and such....The ultimate "tackle box gun".
