1970 Marlin Centennial .444 Marlin Lever Action

I picked-up this Marlin .444 Centennial today.

It has a high comb stock for scope use and was fitted with an old (but still clear) Weaver 300 Classic 3X scope on it of the same vintage and a sling.

It sports a 24" barrel.

Hornaday Leverlution works well in my other .444.....Yeah, like I need two of them.

Sigh, the Centennial is very rare. I was digging around and they were offered with the Weaver scope in a package.

I like that lever evolution ammo for my Marlin 1895 .44

Oh, a friend that works at the shop I got the Centennial at brought me in a right nice WW-2 Underwood walnut stock for the M1 Carbine I got last week. It was a almost perfect match for the walnut Underwood handguard that was on it.
