I have a slightly earlier one set-up with a Lyman receiver sight so I plan to scope this one....I have one of the little Redfield scopes (Browning branded) I'm going to put on it once I get the mount that I ordered in.

There are cult level collectors of these 39 Variants . Working the Funshows I have seen guys get giddy with finds of them , not Luger or Nazi Highpower Giddy but Cowboy Gun ( Real Historic or Modern )

Sadly, I just missed a pre-ban Bakelite stocked Chi-Com AK.

I have a very rare Marlin model 60.
One of only 11 million ever made.

/---/ I bought a similar lever-action Marlin 22 from a gun store, but with a Bushnell scope. The owner said the finish is better on the older rifles.

"Derelict House Guy" brought in several higher-priced long guns yesterday but damn some were rough cosmetically.

Several pre-ban FALs, a couple of AKs, and a SKS along with the Mountie. I was surprised it was as in good a shape as it was.

He did bring in some decent handguns. An early SIG 226, a 6.50" S&W 29-2 in .44 mag, a FN High Power, a S&W M1917, and a Beretta M92F. They were all OK.

I thought about a getting another pre-ban L1A1 (inch pattern Imbel) but I already have one. That and it was dirty with a shit ton of surface rust. LOL....Still thinking on it. ;)

There is actually a "collectable" Model 60 called the Model 99. It's M1 Carbine-ish. The rear sight alone goes for over $125.00 but the whole gun only bring around $300.00.
