I picked up this 1893 M1891 Loewe Argentine Cavalry Carbine today.

The M1891s were built by the Germans and are of excellent quality. They are also an antique (per the ATF) but in a modern caliber (7.65 Arg) and need no paperwork. The rifles/carbines are very desirable because of that.

It came with a box of Norma ammo.

Built in Argentina by the Germans? A little over 50 years later some high ranking Nazis would be using the "Ratline" to escape there and flee the Russians (and what was left of their country)


No, they were built in Germany....Read more, politicize less.
