1700th anniversary of finding of True Cross

Empress Helena went to Jerusalem in 320, and on 14 September of that year, she discovered the cross on which Jesus H. Christ was crucified on, 290 years previously.

A tremendous archeological find by this prominent Roman broad who had it transported to the capital, the city now known as Istanbul.
