Since ICE reportedly just now crossed the 100K mark under Trump, 90% of them seem to have left the labor force for other reasons.....assuming they are not cooking the books like they did when Biden was POTUS.

Maybe they didn´t wait for ICE or went into the hiding. One million is a large number and there is some explanation, we just don´t know it.

Probably a lot of reasons. I assume applications for new visas are being slow walked now so the replenishment rate is probably off. Some may be here legally and just are afraid they will swept up in it.

I have read that there is less interest in American jobs by foreigners based on online clicks and Canada and Europe are pushing to recruit more foreign workers, particular in healthcare and research fields. Some of it may also be that the job market is cooling off more than we are being told.
