For me, having a "friend" on this forum means that I've taken the time to look at your post history and thread-starting history, and I've decided that for one reason or another, your posts and threads are worth taking the time to read. In most cases, my friends demonstrate an unusually high level of intelligence and rationality; but I have other criteria as well, including just plain "niceness". I don't always agree with my friends' political opinions, so expect to see extreme RW's as well as Libs on the list; but all my friends are either interesting or charming or both.
Hello, Paravani. Thank you for the friend request.
I may not spend as much time here as I have.. both because I am working on other projects and thing are getting a bit intense on the board. But I will be in touch. Look forward to reading your posts.
Yes, Taliban, too. Politically too and what's so dangerous is the sectarian war with each other. It's the core problem that's eating the root of the nation. One can't bear anyone who's out of his/her sect. Seems like no Muslim is left in Pakistan and no one wants to be called by 'Muslim'. They love and they want and they need to be called by their sect's name than add 'Muslim' in the end.
i'm sure there are somewhere, there is a list of them, have to start clicking to see note the posts are not private in the social group, it's just a way to indicate your personality/characteristics by joining different groups
Sorry, the message must have to be written under 100 characters, so posting the rest of message here;
"If may Pakistan would be a peaceful country, that incident would then happened, I personally would raise her name by any resources I may have to have her name out and bring justice but unfortunately Pakistan isn't a peaceful country right now and have many many many more problems to deal with other than that girl. "
Yeah, looks like it's one peaceful place in Pakistan till the date (I hope it may remain the same and peace may restore throughout the Pakistan). No, the community I belong to, doesn't take part into any demonstrations. Yes, girls have no problem going to schools/colleges in my town and in my community. Emmmm I just want to point out my personal thought over that incident happened to that girl; Pakistan is by many means, not a peaceful country. Putting her in flashlight, only quoting her is not an act of just to others who bear the similar or more than her, everyday. 40-50 people get killed in violent acts throughout the country, everyday, and our media just shows up the number of people killed hardly 2 times in the same day and forget about them the other day. No names show up for those daily victims because those ain't popular, famous, prominent.
Yeah, thanks, it sucks.
GallantWarrior says the last one had an umbilical hernia, it wasn't the mama's fault she pulled it out, and it would have had lots of painful problems in the future if it had lived.
So I feel a little better about having to kill it; but Gawd that was awful, and heart-wrenching.
