LOL! Please don't be embarrassed. My first three weeks here I never even hinted that I was a woman. It's too easy for some to immediately marginalize one for being that sex. Everyone (almost) assumed that I was a man. I finally revealed it in a thread discussing relationships. One poster was so entrenched in his idea that I was a guy that I finally had to let on that I was a woman so that the discussion could continue along the correct path. I mean, I really cannot comment on what guys think in a relationship. How the hell would a woman EVER know that?
And, it was just in time because that damn Echo Zulu had posted a thread about some really cute boots she wanted to buy, soliciting opinions about them. It was sooooo hard not to comment without either revealing my gender or folks thinking I was a 'guy' who was pretty clued in on fashion. When I let on my sex in that other thread, I immediately went to EZ's boot thread and commented. Whew!
