Thank you brother .. and I do recognize the cognitive dissonance that inhibts many from thinking for themselves .. but I think it's important to demonstrate that everyone is not so deluded. One of the things I like most about your posts is that you speak honestly and directly irrespective of if anyone "gets it." The battle we fight is intellectual warfare .. and I'm glad to have you with me in the trenches.

I'm somewhat obsessed about economics because that is really the only thing that the elite give a crap about. Their economic policies are, in my opinion, destroying our nation.
I started out reading history at BU.
Had I known then, what I know now, I'd have majored in econ.
One can understand history far better if one understands the economics driving it, I think.
So, I've been playing catch-up on macro-econ for a long time.
Regretfully, I'm so far behind in higher math that getting a masters in econ at my age is pretty much out of the question.
Still, as Ben Johnson reminds us: "One does not have to be a carpenter to know the table wobbles."
I look at the American economic table and think that it's about ready to collapse. -
