BTW- If Nancy did say that starving artists can avoid work now, I agree that is a woefully inadequate argument for HC reform. However, we have all seen coffee can collections for unfortunate families who have been hard hit by tragic circumstances. Clearly, those people do deserve a safety net.
How about changing the discussion to a question about Christianity instead of Socialism? I believe that making sure that thousands of citizens don't die each year due to a lack of health insurance is a noble and, in fact, the Christian thing to do.
