If Romney wins the election, it will be because of a significant Republican turnout. That will result in Republicans winning the Senate. If Obama wins, I still think Republicans could gain a majority, but it won't be a sizable one.
It's interesting how he's decided to ignore enforcing DOMA, for example. Whatever you think of the law, it's the president's job to enforce it, not to determine for him/herself what the law is.
I don't think anyone doubts that the old America needed some improving. I mean, slavery was once legal and racism continued (and still does among some). Of course, we've come a long way since then. And, it's the "old" America that allowed us to do so. Our constitution is a wonderful thing.
