Cops called on woman listening to Michael Savage too loud; then praying. Ended in US Supreme Court..

Here’s what I was thinking about. Vermont appears to be one of the states where the birth rate is being eclipsed by the death rate: Woolf: Why more than half of Vermont's counties are shrinking in population The question for me then is, what is causing this kind of situation? Is it strictly a...

Just to put this out there, demographics is about more than race. And I'll try to expound more on that later.. in the middle of something right now.

Your VT callout is interesting. Demographically, that’s an interesting state to watch on this kind of stuff.

Good example. And I think you deserve a PhD in linguistics.

Most Conservatives Still Believe The Civil War Wasn't Over Slavery

It’s remarkable how thick their denial is; search for the word slavery in that site and you’ll get 83 hits. Search for tariffs and you’ll get zero. As Robert Toombs, future Secretary of State for the Confederates, said in 1860: “The North understand it better - they have told us for twenty...

How come Lincoln got away with shutting down hundreds of newspapers and jailed journalists

If slavery wasn’t an issue, then why was the south so worried about losing slavery, and why did the Union pass the thirteenth amendment banning slavery immediately after the war? South Carolina declaration of secession: Avalon Project - Confederate States of America - Declaration of the...

How come Lincoln got away with shutting down hundreds of newspapers and jailed journalists

Was the pre-thirteenth amendment Constitution even morally legitimate if it allowed for legal chattel slavery? So a bunch of hypocrites got in a fight with another bunch of hypocrites.. yawn. Part of the human condition it seems. Anyway, most people judge historical figures with respect to...

Let Uber Self- Driving Car Fatality Wake Up America!

Apparently they had deliberately disabled the vehicle’s built in automatic braking system: NTSB: Uber Self-Driving Car Had Disabled Emergency Brake System Before Fatal Crash "According to Uber," the agency said, "emergency braking maneuvers are not enabled while the vehicle is under computer...

Marxist Want California to Leave Union...Goodbye Freakland

To keep more California tax dollars in California, Californians should vote for representatives that want to drastically cut back the size and scope of the federal government. The problem is, Californians keep voting for the party most in favor of increased federal control/taxing/spending...

    Questions.....RE: The Greenhouse Effect

Yeah, just thinking about how one would apply a strictly one-way thermal radiation flow rule across all conceivable situations, and it quickly devolves into absurdity. A vibrating particle of matter will emit electromagnetic waves who’s trajectories will depend of the directions the vibrations...

    Questions.....RE: The Greenhouse Effect

I have the output of sensors, and the sensors’ output matches the two-way energy exchange model. Do you have proof that the output of the mathematical model doesn’t match the output of the sensor? If the theory involved purely one-way energy flow to predict the output of the sensor, then I...

    Questions.....RE: The Greenhouse Effect

The source says all objects with a temperature emit thermal radiation. That’s the input to the sensor (even if the object is colder than the sensor). That’s why it talks about net flow, because as long as the object is above absolute zero, there’s always an input.
