Donald Trump really needs to give his FIFA Peace Prize back now.

I'm not bothered by him, as much the fact it feels like he's on about every second show the network airs. Too much Guy all the time.

I'm not sure why any potential assassin would just automatically assume he'd be at Mar A Lago in the first place? As president, he could be anywhere in the country or even overseas.

I'm not blaming them for their own deaths because everything I've heard says ICE completely disregarded its own protocol in its confrontations with the two individuals, but yes, if they'd stayed the hell away from them, they'd be alive now.

He was apolitical. Voters who claim he'd support one party or candidate are just looking to justify their own support, quite often in an attempt to manipulate others into doing likewise.

He does have the option of donating the amount of his salary increase to the federal department of finance. If he seriously doesn't want it and believes it's inappropriate to receive, that is the way he should go.

My deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. I understand that some lives are long and others are short, but no parent should ever have to bury a child for that reason. It is nothing but a good thing that the shooter is dead and can never hurt anyone else again.

My first thought when this started happening was that regardless of whether it was justified or not, Trump can no longer claim to be a president of peace who hadn't started any foreign wars or invaded other countries.

I suppose they could try to impeach him, but for as much as they try to shout from the rooftops for him to step down, he can't be compelled to do so.

I don't see how trying to build a temple anywhere on the mount site near the Dome of the Rock wouldn't set the tempers of the Islamic world alight everywhere and potentially start World War III.

Cynical me thinks this is just a cheap appeal to generate fans among the devoutly religious. I don't believe God makes even the slightest attempt to control or intervene in sporting contests.
