I also would like to say though, that is was not Greenspan alone. Many, Many other contributed to our economy being the way that it is. Many in governmental positions and many on Wall Street. So, yes he played a part in the downturn but he was not the only leading character.

I think many of us on here could agree that Alan Greenspan did not do us a favor in watching out for our economy and the housing market in specific. However, I also think that we who live in this country do have a responsibility ourselves to pay attention to what is taking place economically...
