Thanks, genuinely, for demonstrating that dyed-in-the-wool prejudice is still alive. Even my ultra conservative family who doesn't approve of my being queer doesn't act like you. :)
No one is forcing anyone to wear pride stuff. You may see some people wearing it and be reminded that queer people and queer allies can safely exist visibly now and that may make you mad. Cry me a river.

My neighborhood hasn't done trick or treats on our street for as long as I've lived here, seems. Sad. But I do get to walk down to my church and help out with the "fall festival" there, and wear a costume while helping out.
I find it tolerable without that guy in charge (and I started using the ignore option on anyone else who chronically irked me), but you gotta do what makes you feel comfortable. :)
Are politics that important? Not to me. Which is why I don't have that much to do with discussing em, aside from trying to keep myself some level of informed so that I can make voting choices.
